This Privacy Policy explains how SmartProposal, a product of Belmont Digital Marketing (“SmartProposal,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the smartproposal.pro website and the SmartProposal service (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

Information We Collect

• Information you provide. When you book a call, request information, or sign up, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, and agency name. Subscribing agencies also provide team member names, photos, phone numbers, and branding.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) through logs and privacy-respecting analytics.
• Client data processed for agencies. When an agency sends a proposal, the proposal page and its forms process the recipient’s name, contact details, viewing activity, and anything they submit when they accept or ask a question, on that agency’s behalf. The agency controls that data; we act as a service provider (processor) and deliver it where the agency directs (email, webhooks, API).

Proposal Recipients

If you received a SmartProposal link, the agency that sent it is responsible for the information on that page and for how your responses are used. The page records when it is opened and which documents are viewed so your agent knows you received it; it does not use advertising trackers or set cross-site cookies. IP addresses used for view de-duplication are hashed and rotate daily. Contact the agency named on the page with questions about your proposal, or us at help@smartproposal.pro about the platform.

How We Use Information

• To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service.
• To respond to your inquiries and schedule calls.
• To send product updates and occasional marketing to agencies, from which you can opt out at any time.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service (hosting, email delivery, file storage, analytics), each bound to use it solely on our behalf; with an agency’s own connected tools when the agency configures them; and when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Retention and Security

Agency and proposal data is retained while the agency’s subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless the agency deletes it sooner. We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and signed webhook deliveries. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your Choices

Agencies can export their proposal data through the API at any time and may request deletion of their account. Proposal recipients may ask the sending agency to remove their information. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link.
